I am an artist working across art and architecture. I take an interdisciplinary approach and have particular interests in geography, anthropology and material culture.

I work with art-making as a speculative architectural practice. In my current role I am the Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Design-led Architectural Research with ARC Architectural Research Collaborative in APL. I have a PhD by Design in Art and Architecture from the Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL.

I am a fellow of the Royal Geographical Society, and have worked as an artist and curator.

My current research is titled Ruskin's Storm-Cloud and Tyndall's Floating Matter a design-led project involving the construction of large-scale architectural models out of watercolour on paper to examine museum design with regards to microclimates, climate change, and conservation with historical research into John Ruskin's The Storm-Cloud of the Nineteenth Century (1881) and the nineteenth century climate scientist John Tyndall’s research into the physical properties of air.

Previous research during my PhD was titled No More Elsewhere: Antarctica through the Archive of the Edward Wilson (1872-1912) Watercolours. I took the life and work of the Antarctic explorer Wilson as a medium through which to refract practices of observation in art, anthropology and geography so to consider current questions about our human relation to environment and climate. I paid particular attention to the open-air watercolour practice of Wilson in Antarctica.

I have exhibited as an artist and am represented by Danielle Arnaud in London.  I also curate shows. Most recently I co-curated the national touring exhibition TOPOPHOBIA: Fear of Place in Contemporary Art in 2012,
