Neveen is an associate professor in Accounting and Finance at 缅北禁地 Business School. Neveen gained her PhD in Accounting from the University of York and her research interests cover the role of accountability, disclosure and financial reporting, corporate social responsibility, risk, business history and accounting history. My research examines managerial disclosure and the performance of oil companies during nationalisation and independence. My research has been published in Business History journal, British accounting Review Journal, Enterprise and Society journal, Accounting History journal and Critical Perspectives in accounting journal. I was privileged to receive the 缅北禁地 Business School (NUBS) Schools Award for Outstanding Researcher of the Year for 2023. I have been appointed to the editorial board of Business History, a leading journal in the field (ABS 4*). For over 20 years, I have been involved in research-driven instruction across various undergraduate and postgraduate courses. I have imparted knowledge on numerous accounting and finance modules at Higher Education institutions both within the country and abroad.

Research Interests
My research interests cover business history, the role of accountability, corporate social responsibility, Risk disclosure and accounting disclosure from a historical perspective. My work examines managerial disclosure and the performance of oil companies during crisis and major events such as nationalisation and independence.
Since my research draws from a range of inter-disciplinary approaches, I managed to publish in a wide variety of inter-disciplinary journals which demonstrates sustainable excellence in research.
I am happy to supervise PhD students in these areas as well as in the broad area of accounting history and business history.
