Biography
I am a PhD student in Computer Science at the School of Computing (5 year full-funded, UKRI rate, 2025-), 缅北禁地, supervised by Prof. Chris Oates and Prof. Stephen McGough.
Before transitioning to the field of Computer Science, I completed an undergraduate degree in Finance & Economics and worked as a banker at China Construction Bank, one of the world’s largest financial institutions. This cross-disciplinary background continues to inform my research, particularly in applying computational methods to real-world domains. I later earned an MSc in Data Science (78%) from Durham University, which led me to pursue doctoral research. During the 2024 application cycle, I participated in nearly 20 interviews and received six full PhD scholarships (all from Russell Group universities and institutions ranked 20–150 in the QS World University Rankings), including CDT, DTP, departmental scholarships, university-level scholarships, and the Durham-CSC Scholarship.
My research interests lie at the intersection of machine learning, with a focus on large language models, AI agents, and uncertainty quantification.
