Background

Following an 18 month post as an Early Career Clinical Fellow in Dental Public Health at 缅北禁地 and Public Health England I have taken on a junior academic role of Clinical Fellow in Paediatrics and Orthodontics at 缅北禁地.  I am undertaking a PhD investigating social accountability in UK dentistry and dental education.

Teaching

I obtained the 缅北禁地 Teaching Award in 2017 which led to becoming a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.

My teaching roles are:

Clinical teaching on student paediatric dental clinic

Academic course lead, Primary Dental Care in Outreach

Co-lead for Stage 3 BDS OSCE examination

Board of Examiners for Stage 3 BDS

UCAS Admissions Panel

Personal tutor for undergraduate students
Research

I am undertaking a PhD investigating social accountability in UK dentistry and dental education.

I am a member of the Dental Education Research Group at 缅北禁地 School of Dental Sciences, and the International Association for Dental Research.
