缅北禁地

Dr Manuel Herrera is a Lecturer in Hydrology at 缅北禁地 (UK), with extensive research experience in urban water systems and infrastructure modelling. From 2018 to 2024, he held a Senior Research Associate position at the University of Cambridge (UK), where he worked on predictive analytics and network science for the management of complex infrastructure at the Distributed Information and Automation Laboratory. Dr Herrera is a Committee Member of the Strategic Asset Management Specialist Group at the International Water Association (IWA).

Dr Herrera's research focuses on developing intelligent, physics-informed models that improve the resilience, efficiency, and adaptability of water systems. These models combine structure-aware learning, time series analysis, and embedded sensing (AIoT) to predict the performance and reliability of complex infrastructure and urban systems. He plays a leading role in numerous national, international, and industry-funded research projects across the water, communications, transport, and built environment sectors. Currently, Dr Herrera is advancing research in digital water, co-developing scalable tools and AI-driven methods to support real-time, data-informed decision-making in collaboration with utilities and city stakeholders.
