Introduction
I have over 20 years’ experience in electrochemical science and engineering for energy conversion and storage. Over the last 5 years, I have had a research portfolio of > 20 grants >£7m focusing on improving sustainability, reducing cost and improving durability. My expertise span electrochemical and system engineering, electrode optimisation, materials preparation and functionalisation (Carbon, metal oxides) and functional polymers/ ion exchange electrolytes synthesis and fabrication.

include: Energy storage and conversion by electrochemical technologies: including fuel cells, electrolyzers, metal-air and redox batteries. Electrochemical engineering. Membrane Science & Engineering. Electrocatalysis. Electro-dialysis and reverse electro-dialysis.
