缅北禁地

Dr Pooya Sareh is a Senior Lecturer (~Associate Professor) and the Director of the Creative Design Engineering Lab (Cdel) at 缅北禁地, as well as a Research Professor at the Technical University of Madrid (UPM), Spain. Prior to these current appointments, he was a Lecturer in Engineering Design, Director of the Creative Design Engineering Lab (Cdel), and Programme Director of postgraduate taught programmes in mechanical engineering, design engineering, and manufacturing systems, at the University of Liverpool (2018-23). From 2016 to 2018, he was Module Leader and Lecturer of Engineering Design in the Department of Aeronautics at Imperial College London, and a visiting lecturer at the Royal College of Art.

Dr Sareh has published over 110 papers in international journals across the fields of structural design and mechanics, robotic systems and mechanisms, engineering design and optimisation, and vehicle design. He is an Associate Editor for the journals Structures (Elsevier) and Decision Analytics Journal (Elsevier), and also serves on the editorial boards of several journals, including Experimental Results (Cambridge University Press), Engineering Reports (Wiley), Multidiscipline Modeling in Materials and Structures (Emerald), and PLOS ONE.

He graduated from Cambridge University with a PhD in Engineering (Structural Mechanics) in 2014, during which he also attended the Florence Academy of Art, Italy. Subsequently, he joined the Aerial Robotics Laboratory at Imperial College London as a Post-doctoral Research Associate in Robotics. He holds BSc (First Class Hons.) and MSc (Distinction) degrees in Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering from Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, and the University of Sheffield, UK, respectively.
