Dr Shafiq Odhano is a Lecturer in Electric Drives at the School of Engineering. He is a member of the Electrical Power research group. He obtained his PhD degree in Power Electronics, Electrical Machines and Drives from the , Italy. His research expertise are in the field of power electronics, electrical machines and control of electric drives.

Shafiq's research focuses on the control of electric drives and he is a member of the Electrical Power Group.
