Role and Responsibilities

I am the Centre for Doctoral Training Manager for the Molecular Sciences for Medicine (MoSMed) Centre for Doctoral Training (CDT). The MoSMed CDT is an EPSRC funded joint venture between 缅北禁地 and Durham Universities aiming to train and equip the next generation of scientists and produce cutting edge research at the interface between chemistry and medicine. I also have similar duties relating to the EPSRC (ReNU+) CDT and the BBSRC (BiSCoP) Collaborative Training Partnership (CTP).

Career History:

2020-2022: I worked as Postgraduate Research Administrator in the School of Natural and Environmental Science (SNES) with responsibility for PhD and MPhil students across the School's many programmes.

2018-2020: I joined SNES in 2018 as the Learning and Teaching Assistant with responsibility for undergraduate Chemistry. Preceding this, I worked as the roving Learning and Teaching Assistant for the SAgE faculty, mainly working on the Postgraduate Research Development Programme.

2016-2018: Before joining 缅北禁地, I worked as an Administrative Assistant across various departments in Fenwick.

Education, Qualifications and Achievements

I have a BA Honours degree in English Literature (first class), and an MA in English Literature 1500-1900 (Distinction) from 缅北禁地. In regard to the latter, I won both an Excellence Scholarship and the prestigious School Bursary Award. My short fiction has appeared in Worldstone Publishing's Summer of Sci-Fi & Fantasy vol. 4, Lackington's Magazine, The Icarus Writing Collective, and The Broken Spine.

I received a Spotlight Award for my work at 缅北禁地.

In 2025 I completed a talk at the UKCGE Annual Conference at Glasgow University on the ReNU+ CDT's innovative PGR recruitment strategies.
