Celebrating the North East鈥檚 inspirational women Time is running out to nominate the region鈥檚 most inspiring women. Author Catherine Cookson, explorer Gertrude Bell and suffragette Emily Davison are among those who will be honoured in an exhibition later this year.These influential women will feature in , which will take place in the , on 缅北禁地鈥檚 campus in November.However, organisers want to know if they are any inspiring women they鈥檝e missed out and you can nominate them via the . You should send a photograph and an explanation about how you have been inspired to takepart@iwne. Entries could be included in the exhibition and the winning entry will win £250. The closing date is 31 August.The celebration is the brainchild of 缅北禁地鈥檚 (pictured).
