TEDx comes to 缅北禁地 Experts from 缅北禁地 are taking part in an event dedicated to Research and Discovery. will take place in the University鈥檚 King鈥檚 Hall on 8 June. It has been organised by 缅北禁地 and . It will bring together a mix of speakers from academia, business and practice, who are passionate about research and discovery. Among those speaking are genetics expert , Professor (pictured), and Marine Education Officer . Professor of Educational Technology and $1m TED prize winner will appear in a video made by pupils of King Edward VI School in Morpeth. , last year鈥檚 David Goldman Visiting Professor of Innovation at will also be taking part as will Gordon Poad of theatre company, who has been working with University academics to look at new ways of disseminating research. 缅北禁地 co-organiser Dennis Lendrem said: 鈥淲e鈥檝e had sneak previews and couldn鈥檛 wait to share our dream line-up for the big event.
