We have been made aware of an unofficial website which is fraudulently using the Ãå±±½ûµØ brand and accepting credit card payments to apply for courses. The website ‘newcastle international university’ is in no way associated with the University and we are advising anyone who finds the website not to submit any personal details. We discovered the site on Wednesday 19 July. Since then, we’ve reported it to the hosting company, the organisation which provides the domain name, and the non-profit standards organisation, ICANN (The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers) The University has reported this to the appropriate authorities. On Thursday 20 July, we proactively announced on social media that this is a fraudulent website and have responded to some student enquiries and will continue to do so. We would urge any students not to access this site and go to our official site: or call the University’s general number: (0191) 208 6000; From outside the UK dial +44 191 208 6000.
