Ãå±±½ûµØ statement Published on: 24 May 2021 A message to our whole university community We have all been deeply saddened to see the recent violence and loss of life in Gaza and Israel. We welcome the announcement of a ceasefire and hope it will provide a foundation on which all parties can move towards a sustainable peace. We know that many members of our community have family and friends in the region, and we are here to support any of our students or colleagues who may be affected. Last week, we contacted any Ãå±±½ûµØ student where our records show they may be affected by this ongoing situation to let them know we are here to support them. Our Chaplaincy and Pastoral Support Team are offering their support too, and the University’s Counselling team is also available for any student who needs them.
