The University of Law to offer barrister training at 缅北禁地 Published on: 22 June 2022 The University of Law (ULaw) will deliver the Bar Practice Course (BPC) and BPC LLM at 缅北禁地 from September 2022 as part of its ongoing legal education partnership with the University. The Bar Standards Board (BSB), which regulates barristers and specialised legal services businesses in England and Wales, have approved ULaw’s application to run the BPC at 缅北禁地 from September 2022. This expanded offering follows the successful launch of ULaw’s 缅北禁地 campus in September 2021 in partnership with 缅北禁地. The addition of the BPC courses at 缅北禁地 offers ULaw’s professional legal training for aspiring barristers in 缅北禁地 and the North East to allow the new generation to shape the legal landscape across the country. The nine-month course, which forms the route for students wishing to pursue a career as a barrister, will be delivered by both experienced teaching staff from Leeds and new appointments from practice, who represent a broad and diverse range of practice specialisms. To help support aspiring barristers commencing the BPC at 缅北禁地 in September 2022, ULaw have published introductory discounted fees of £12,500 (BPC) and £12,550 (BPC LLM).Students can also benefit from ULaw’s £500 缅北禁地 Postgraduate Award, subject to meeting the terms and conditions. Dr Jonathan Galloway, Head of 缅北禁地 Law School, said: “I am delighted to see that our partners at The University of Law have secured Bar Standards Board approval to run a new Bar Practice Course from the 缅北禁地 campus from September 2022. This expands on an already very successful partnership between our respective Universities for the benefit of our current and future students, as well as other aspiring barristers in the North East and those that want to study here. I know that this new course will be a success and more importantly I know it will provide an excellent educational experience for our next generation of barristers.” Matt Tomlinson, Dean at ULaw’s Leeds and 缅北禁地 campuses, said: “Our first year in 缅北禁地 has been a true success and I am thrilled that we are now able to extend our offering to those wishing to pursue a career at the Bar. We have been very warmly welcomed by the 缅北禁地 legal market, particularly the local bar circuit, and I am very much looking forward to building these relationships going forward.’ For more information see www.law.ac.uk Press release reproduced with thanks to the University of Law Share: Latest News New partnership to boost careers in low carbon energy 缅北禁地 and Durham universities are working together on a new regional project to strengthen the future workforce for North East England鈥檚 growing low carbon and offshore wind industries. published on: 28 May 2026 Healthy lifestyle shown to lower risk of death after cancer diagnosis New evidence shows that sticking to five lifestyle recommendations improves survival after a later cancer diagnosis. published on: 28 May 2026 World-leading climate expert recognised with Royal Society Fellowship Professor Hayley Fowler has been elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in recognition of her pioneering work on climate change impacts. published on: 27 May 2026 Facts and figures
