McKinsey & Company’s  found that organisations with greater gender diversity outperform their competitors. They identified that the most gender-diverse companies are 48% more likely to have above-average earnings when compared to the least gender-diverse companies.

Diversity of thought, opinion, and experience all lead to better decision-making and problem-solving. Yet despite the clear advantage of diverse work forces, only  of the world's researchers are women.

On International Day of Women and Girls in Science (11 February 2026) RE_TV showcased seven RE:TV contributors who are breaking boundaries in STEM.
