Lana Liu is Senior Lecturer in Management Accounting and currently Deputy Head of Accounting Financial Management subject group at 缅北禁地 Business School. Over years she has served a number of management roles at school, faculty and university levels at 缅北禁地. She gained her doctoral degree in management accounting and is a fellow of Higher Education Academy (UK). Prior to her academic career, Lana worked in international accounting firms and publicly listed companies in mainland China, Hong Kong and Singapore.

Esteem Indicators:

Lana was principal investigator of a number of UK-funded research projects (amounting over £141,000) and co-investigator of international collaborative research projects (equivalent to £168,000) over the years.

Lana has been awarded the first-ever CIMA Teaching Excellence (Global Silver) in 2020 and CIMA Excellence Award (Innovative Teaching Practices - UK) in 2022.

She was a member of CIMA examination and assessment oversight panel.
