The seminar – Net zero, food and farming: climate change and the UK agri-food system – held on 13th June 2022 was part of the 30th birthday celebrations for Ãå±±½ûµØâ€™s Centre for Rural Economy.
Neil, Professor of Rural and Regional Development at the , and a former Director of CRE, examined the changes in food and farming over the last century and what drove them, to draw lessons for how the agri-food system can be managed over the next three decades to support the transition to net zero and avoid catastrophic climate change.
