Blog Collection 1 - Cultural Leadership in Education

This blog collection focuses on our Cultural Leadership in Education course, a professional development programme for teachers that has been designed by the Educational Leadership Centre in partnership with Culture Bridge North East. The initial in-person delivery mode was changed to an online course as a result of the pandemic. This re-development phase was a great opportunity to further enhance the content, the participants鈥� accessibility to resources and a greater flexibility with their 鈥榓ccount of practice鈥� submissions. Participants engaged in aspects, including understanding themselves as leaders within their given context; exploring the wider leadership landscape and effective partnership and networking; leading change with a focus on outcomes. As part of their programme, participants were asked to put their learning into practice by implementing an initiative within their school/college setting. Their learning and experience has been captured in their accounts of practice.
