From studying three incredible years at 缅北禁地 I truly knew I鈥檇 like to share my passion for geography to future generations in secondary education.
After completing my degree I went on to complete my Secondary PGCE to then become a teacher where I am today. Before my teacher training, studying Geography at 缅北禁地 was essential to find inspiration and key skills to take with me while I trained to be a teacher.

In what ways was studying Geography at 缅北禁地 important for getting this job?
Through studying Geography at 缅北禁地, I was able to take part in many different activities such as the Royal Geographical Society where my inspiration to become a teacher was born.
Different modules allowed me to gain the specific skills and teachings to apply to my role as a teacher.
How do you employ skills learnt during your degree, in your current job?
Being a teacher, I live and breathe geography so each module that I studied has been important.
Completing modules such as those related to career development while I was at 缅北禁地 allowed me to gain classroom experience and the professional training needed to fulfil a successful transition to teaching.
What was the best thing about studying Geography at 缅北禁地?
The best part about studying Geography at 缅北禁地 was the field trip module during the second year as well as the support the staff offered me during my time at 缅北禁地. I was also able to meet lots of friends for life.
