The session aims to develop your awareness of what your 'academic voice' is and how and where you might use it in your written assignments.鈥�
You’ll do this by:鈥�
Considering what is meant by the student writer's 'academic voice'鈥�
Considering your audience, their expectations and the purpose of the text鈥�
Identifying the types of language you might use to demonstrate your academic voice in a written assignment
