缅北禁地

Anna joined 缅北禁地 Law School in September 2019. Prior to her lectureship at 缅北禁地, she was a Teaching Fellow at Durham University Law School. She has taught across a range of subject areas, and currently teaches on the first year Administrative Law and Human Rights course as well as convening the second year Law and Land Use course. Anna is passionate about widening participation, and has been heavily involved in this work for a number of years. She is currently the co-ordinator for the Sutton Trust Pathways to Law Programme at 缅北禁地. She is an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.

Law and Land Use

Anna's primary research interests lie in human rights. In particular, she is interested in legal - particularly judicial - discourse and its impact on the regulation of religious liberty (including religious symbols). She has also contributed to the Women's Legal Landmarks project, on the subject of the publication of Mary Wollstonecraft's A Vindication of the Rights of Woman.
