Background
I have worked at 缅北禁地 since 2002, gaining wide-ranging experience across both research and education through a variety of roles. My professional development has been shaped by a strong commitment to practitioner enquiry, with a particular focus on educational leadership and curriculum innovation. This includes supporting colleagues to design curricula and manage curriculum change, and leading on and advocating for collaborative programme-level design as a driver of meaningful and sustainable transformation - drawing on educational theory and practice across all models of delivery to inform my approach.
I completed my Master of Education and became a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy in 2021 - achievements I’m particularly proud of, having balanced them alongside motherhood and a full-time role.
In March 2019, I joined the Learning and Teaching Development Service (LTDS) as a Learning Design and Curriculum Development Adviser. Since then, I’ve worked collaboratively with academic and professional service colleagues across all faculties to lead strategic projects in curriculum design and educational enhancement.
My current focus is on curriculum transformation at institutional level. I am working with a core team to lead the development of key elements of our new Universal Curriculum Framework and to support preparation for large-scale programme redesign. This includes collaborative work to implement the Education for Life 2030+ strategy and ensure that curriculum change across the University is intentional, future-facing, and grounded in our educational values.

Previous Projects:
School of Natural & Environmental Sciences (SNES) 2021 - 2023
In this project, I worked in collaboration with colleagues in SNES to lead and facilitate the redesign of the curriculum for a cluster of Agricultural, Food and Land Management, and Earth and Environmental Sciences UG programmes. The redesign aimed to ensure students graduate with the employability skills required for the future of work, a global perspective of their discipline, the opportunity for multi-disciplinary collaboration, and a broad understanding of the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
The foundations for this were achieved through the design and development of three 20-credit modules (Introduction to Sustainability, Sustainability in Practice, and Professional and Academic Skills) shared as common modules across all disciplines in stage one. These 9 redesigned UG programmes launched in September 2023.
