The mission of the 缅北禁地 Magnetic Resonance Centre is to develop and apply novel non-invasive magnetic resonance methodology to solve important problems of human health.

Major research areas

Our investigations are centred around the major research areas within the University which include:

Brain injury research

Investigations of brain injury by magnetic resonance imaging and spectroscopy.

Cardiovascular Research

Cardiovascular magnetic resonance, has assumed a key role in the diagnosis, monitoring and prognostic evaluation of heart disease.

Dementia research

Research into dementia at 缅北禁地 is led by Professor Andrew Blamire and Dr John-Paul Taylor. Find out about their ongoing research projects.

Diabetes research
