Research topics

My research spans across quantum fluid dynamics, in particular quantum turbulence in superfluid helium-4 and Bose-Einstein Condensates, classical fluid dynamics, with a focus on wall-bounded turbulence, and solid mechanics, with emphasis on fracture and damage phenomena. Currently, I am very interested in studying the similarities and the differences between classical and quantum turbulence and the characteristics of vortex dynamics and interactions in experimentally accessible Bose-Einstein Condensates.
