Background

Roles and Responsibilities

Beth is a Digital Content Editor, focusing specifically on web content for the Faculty of Medical Sciences (FMS). Her responsibilities include:


  • building and maintaining FMS web pages
  • supporting with the creation of new FMS web pages
  • supporting with the redesign of existing FMS web pages
  • making small ad-hoc edits when needed
  • editing page content for accessibility, readability, tone of voice, search engine optimisation (SEO) and answer engine optimisation (AEO)
  • conducting user research and analysing web page data




Background

Beth joined 缅北禁地 in December 2025. Prior to this, she worked for three years as a Content Editor and Designer for the National Deaf Children's Society, with a specific focus on digital content for deaf children and young people. She has also worked as an editor in online educational publishing.
