Background
In my role as a Research Project Manager, I support a number of research projects within the Faculty of Medical Sciences (HUNTER, BIO-FLARE, PSORT/SIGNATURE and A*STAR-Bio). My projects all have a translational aspect to them and include both observational and interventional clinical trials. This requires working between the University, Trust and Funders to ensure adherence to all relevant regulatory guidelines.
I am responsible for the general project management that also includes budget monitoring & forecasting, milestone reporting and coordinating regular study management meetings.
I have a BSc in Molecular Biology and a PhD in Immunology and have worked in Translational research within academia since 2010.
