Research

Research Interests

I have been an educator for over twenty years and have a strong commitment to the scholarship of learning and teaching. I am particularly interested in developing all aspects of psychological literacy through reflective practice and experiential learning. My research interests lie in psychological approaches to understanding religions, spirituality, and mythology. More generally, I am interested in how people make sense of their world and draw meaning through their interaction with their environment, both the natural world and digital, social, and cultural environments. I teach a specialist module in the Psychology of Religion- one of the longest-running modules within psychology in the UK.
