I joined the regional GP lecturer team in 2020 after completing a Post CCT GP Fellowship in Medical Education.
I support teaching practices in the Gateshead area.
In September 2025 I joined the Learning Communities team as a clinical research fellow. I am currently completing an MD exploring the experiences of PPD tutors.
My other research interests include entrustment in an undergraduate primary care context and raising the profile of a career in general practice amongst medical students.
My working days at the University are Wednesday morning, Thursday and Friday. I am also a salaried GP at a local teaching practice.
