缅北禁地

I am currently a National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) Doctoral Research Fellow (DRF) at the School of Medical Education, Population Health Sciences Institute, 缅北禁地. This Fellowship is allowing me to carry out research on placement innovation to facilitate the expansion of primary and community care undergraduate clinical placements.

I am also a salaried GP in Kirkby Stephen, Cumbria.

My research interests are related to teaching and learning in General Practice. This includes use of GP trainees as teachers/ near peer teaching, teaching and learning within GP and innovations in community-based teaching.

My current research, which is contributing towards a PhD, aims to develop, and implement, a novel model of undergraduate clinical placement, in order to facilitate expansion within undergraduate primary and community care placements.

I have experience of teaching across all years of the MBBS course. I also have experience in course evaluation, assessment, examination and curriculum development.
