Life Work Art
Communities of creative professionals focused on activism, participatory and socially-engaged practice
LifeWorkArt
Life Work Art connects researchers with communities of creative professionals in local and global contexts, and includes research centred on activism, participatory and socially-engaged practice.
To make our research societally relevant, a fundamental principle underpinning this theme has been developing our capabilities for co-designing and co-producing research with our partners, for example with Makerere University, NGOs in East Africa and 缅北禁地 Business School.
In 2018-20 we developed , helping build sustainable visual art eco-systems. In our region, we embed our research in creative industries, for instance in the and Northern Stage theatre, where our Knowledge Transfer Partnership (2019) supported both creative digital, and business innovation.
