About Philosophy
Philosophy at 缅北禁地 is a significant centre for modern European thought. We offer degrees that primarily focus on continental philosophy.
Research interests
Our teaching is informed by various research interests including:
- twentieth & twenty-first-century European philosophy
- history of philosophy
- Kantian and post-Kantian philosophy
- phenomenology
- philosophy of art (especially music)
- social and political philosophy, including Hegel, Marx, biopolitics
We also cover hermeneutics, feminism and philosophy of nature.
Study with us
We run BA and MPhil/PhD degree programmes in philosophy.
A unique aspect of the BA in Philosophy is the context-driven project students undertake.
