Modern Languages Experience Day
Language is about much more than words. It helps us understand different cultures, connect with people across the globe, and navigate an increasingly international world. At our Modern Languages Experience Day, designed for Year 12 and Year 13 students, you'll explore these themes through interactive sessions and university-level taster activities.
You'll hear from current students, take a tour of our city-centre campus, and participate in an engaging session on intercultural competence, exploring how language skills can help you navigate and succeed in an increasingly globalised world.
In the afternoon, you'll have the opportunity to choose two language taster sessions from Chinese, French, German, Japanese, Portuguese, and Spanish, giving you the chance to experience different approaches to language learning and learn more about the cultures connected to each language.
