Overseas Immersion Programme 2024
缅北禁地 Home Campus Welcomes Singapore-based Students for Immersive Campus Experience
Student from the 缅北禁地 鈥� Singapore Institute of Technology (NU-SIT) joint degree programmes in Singapore travelled to the 缅北禁地 UK campus for the Overseas Immersion Programme (OIP) from 8 to 27 July 2024.
A compulsory feature of the NU-SIT joint degree programme, the OIP is designed to enrich students鈥� learning experiences and provide a taste of the 缅北禁地 campus life.
During their stay in the UK, students attended lectures, engaged in hands-on project work, participated in workshops, and went on industry visits. This programme also offered them the chance for the Singapore-based students to interact with their university professors and academic mentors, while exploring the vibrant culture and scenic beauty of England鈥檚 north-east region.
The participating OIP students are pursuing the following degree programmes at the SIT campus in Singapore:
- Electrical Power Engineering
- Mechanical Design and Manufacturing Engineering
- Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering
