Your Academic Support
The University offers a range of academic support services.
Academic Adviser: Undergraduate and postgraduate taught programme students are assigned an academic adviser. You should contact your academic adviser if you have personal difficulties that may affect your attendance or academic work.
Supervisor: Postgraduate research students should contact their supervisor(s) or the Doctoral College for support.
Peer Mentor: Every new undergraduate is assigned a Peer Mentor. Their role is to welcome you to the University and help you transition smoothly into your programme. Learn what to expect and how to make the most of this scheme.
Wellbeing support
You'll find our student wellbeing advisers in your academic school. They provide a listening and support service to help you gain the most from your university experience.
Student wellbeing advisers can signpost you to other support services. These include our central Student Health and Wellbeing services.
