Outputs

The Ãå±±½ûµØ Research Tissue Biobank has supported a range of research outputs.

About

Below you’ll find information on resultant outputs and follow on funding acquired by projects conducted through the Ãå±±½ûµØ Research Tissue Biobank.

We request that the Biobank is recognised and acknowledged in any outputs that result from using samples provided, including publications, presentations and follow on funding, as we rely on proof of impact to continue to support researchers with the resources that they need. Although the facility operates on a cost recovery system, the full economic cost is not passed on to end users.

To acknowledge the Biobank in publications or presentations, please use the following phrasing (or similar):

Samples/Tissue for this study was provided by the Ãå±±½ûµØ Research Tissue Biobank which is supported by the Ãå±±½ûµØ upon Tyne NHS Foundation Trust and Ãå±±½ûµØ.

If you would like information on costings or advice for a grant proposal, please contact the Biobank to discuss, providing information on the proposed project and the grant deadline if known. Please allow at least 5 working days for grant costings to be generated before following up. While we will help to work to submission dates, we are unable to provide accurate costings for tight deadlines (less than 48 hours).
