Background

I am the Operations Administrator for the School od History Classics and Archaeology, working on a full-time, blended basis and my responsibilities include the following:  

Working with the School Manager and Heads of Subject to record and distribute the Workload Allocation Model (WAM) to our academic staff and setting up, recording and creating contracts for our Bought in contingent teaching staff. 

Providing statistical data to support the School planning process and supporting the School Executive Board. 

I also have responsibility for:  

  • Co-ordinating the recording of staff PDR 
  • Organising new starter activities - post offer 
  • Supporting the Visiting Staff process (new applications and renewals) 
  • Estates matters

I cover urgent diary requests for the School Manager and Head of School every Monday. 

I have been a member of the department since 2019, previously employed as a Learning and Teaching Assistant. I have a long association with the education sector having gained a BA Hons in Education and Training whilst coordinating projects, teaching and supporting staff and students in the FE sector prior to joining the University.
