Conference recording: Russia's Aggression Against Ukraine: The Year Nobody Expected

The 24th of February marks the year of Russia鈥檚 aggression against Ukraine. Russia鈥檚 continuing violation of the International Law principles has put fundamental values of the rule of law, democracy and human rights at stake. The year has tested European unity and the International Community鈥檚 ability to respond to major crisis of our time and has called for the review of existing legal mechanisms and developing new ways to make Russia and its individuals accountable for the atrocities in Ukraine. These and many other issues will be addressed by ambassadors, scholars and practitioners in the following three panels: Ukraine before International Organisations, International Processes for Holding Russia Accountable for its International Law Violations and Russia鈥檚 International Crimes in Ukraine: Prospects of Criminal Justice.
