On 12 & 13 September 2024, the 62nd ARTIN (Algebra and Representation Theory in the North) was held at 缅北禁地.
ARTIN is a long-running workshop series dedicated to meetings with a focus on representation theory. The core universities belonging to ARTIN are the Universities of Aberdeen, Belfast, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Heriot-Watt, Lancaster, Leicester, Leeds, Manchester, 缅北禁地, Nottingham, Sheffield and York. ARTIN meetings are sponsored by the , the and by the .
This year, speakers included Gwyn Bellamy (University of Glasgow); Kieran Calvert (Lancaster University); Iva Halacheva (Northeastern University, Boston); Simon Lentner (Universitat Hamburg); Vanessa Miemietz (University of East Anglia); Tomasz Przezdziecki (University of Edinburgh); and Catharina Stroppel (Universitat Bonn).
The meeting was organised by Martina Balagovic, Thorsten Heidersdorf and Stefan Kolb.
