Jo Patterson
NIHR Clinical Lectureship
My RDC Doctoral Fellowship and Clinical Lectureship based at 缅北禁地 gave provided me with an excellent start to my academic career. I was part of a thriving multidisciplinary team in ENT, which gave me opportunities to develop my expertise in mixed methods research, to expand my clinical research networks and to build international collaborations.
缅北禁地 provided bridging funding between fellowships, enabling me to maintain a clinical-academic balance in speech and language therapy. I have since built my own research portfolio and have been awarded a personal chair at Liverpool University.
