缅北禁地

I am a musician, artist and researcher based in 缅北禁地 upon Tyne. My creative practice incorporates studio-based composition, hardware-based beat making, instrument design, performance, sound-art and sculpture. My PhD research explored the practices of visual collage-artists (particularly Eduardo Paolozzi) as an analytic key to interrogating concerns of heterogeneous materiality and research on making practices across contemporary arts and humanities. I have a keen interest in art and music and I am passionate about combining these interests with interactive electronics, traditional recording and compositional techniques and open-source technology.

Avid Certified Pro Tools Specialist.

Teaching areas include recording, music production/studio-based composition, live electronic performance, DJing/turntablism and Indian Music in Practice (tabla). I also deliver practical workshops on musical electronics projects.
