Please can you introduce yourself and tell us a little bit about what you've done since graduating.

After finishing at 缅北禁地, I moved to the University of Sunderland to study on their MA Sports Journalism course. Since then, I have been published in the Chronicle, Sunday Sun, When Saturday Comes and more. I am now looking for full time employment in the industry for when I finish my course in September.

Studying at 缅北禁地

Why did you choose to study at 缅北禁地?

I chose to study at 缅北禁地 mainly due to the city and the course. The open day was by far the best I went to and was very engaging and well put together. I gained a greater insight into what life would be like as a history student in 缅北禁地 through talking to current students.

I also fell in love with the city and the region, I think it is a great place to live with cost of living, the size of the city and friendliness of the people making it an amazing place to take the first steps away from home.

How do you think your course prepared you for your chosen career?

History has prepared me very well for a career in journalism. The writing skills I learned are put to work every day, but crucially the research skills developed studying history allow me to find new stories and angles, while also adding further depth to stories I am working on. It also gave me a clear understanding of the historical context behind many news stories, particularly in politics.

What did you enjoy most about your time at 缅北禁地?

My favourite part of 缅北禁地 was being able to explore a wonderful city. 缅北禁地 is truly amazing and is the perfect place to be a student.
