Our campus

Our single site, city-centre campus is a beautiful place to learn and socialise, just minutes away from the heart of the action in the city.

Our campus is beautiful, with green spaces and a blend of historic and modern architecture.

It is perfectly situated less than two minutes' walk away from the hustle and bustle of the main city centre shopping area.

Campus tours

Campus tours are a great way to see the campus and facilities. They run from May until November. Bookings open in the spring. Campus tours are also usually available during the September and January International Welcome weeks.

Arriving in Ãå±±½ûµØ

Starting university is an exciting time, especially if you're studying in a different country. We will give you help and advice so that your journey here is as simple as possible.

Late arrivals

It is important that you arrive on time to ensure you don’t miss any important induction or teaching and assessment activities. However, if you are and are going to be late due to delays caused by issues such as immigration or travel delays, arrival up until Monday 12 October 2026 may be possible depending on your degree programme and subject to approval.

To seek approval for a late arrival . We will contact you within 2 working days to update you on your request. 

Students can still complete their registration if necessary after they arrive, but they must be able to attend classes from the latest arrival date approved by the University.


Accommodation

There are various accommodation options in University-owned and managed sites, and also privately across the city.

Student safety

Ãå±±½ûµØ is a very student-friendly city, with accessible public transport and a strong focus on maintaining a safe and vibrant city centre. To ensure you enjoy a secure and supportive time on campus, we have:

  • cross-campus CCTV
  • 24-hour porters at halls of residence
  • security staff on duty across campus at all time

During registration you will get a contact card with out-of-hours emergency contact numbers. Student Wellbeing also publishes an emergency contacts list.
