Become a Student Moderator

We are looking for international students currently studying in the UK to support our Massive Open Online Course (MOOC), Managing Your Wellbeing as an International Student in the UK.

Developed with the British Council and hosted on FutureLearn, the course supports international students studying in the UK and includes discussion forums where learners can share their experiences, ideas and questions.

What will the role involve?

As a Student Moderator, you will take part in the course discussion forums, helping to encourage conversation, share your own experiences and perspectives as an international student, and respond to learners where appropriate.

You will log into the FutureLearn course for one hour per day, Monday to Friday, between 9am and 5pm.

The role runs for three weeks, from Monday 12 October to Friday 30 October 2026.

This is a paid role at £15.51 per hour, equivalent to £232.65 in total over the three weeks.

Before the course begins, there will be a short introductory meeting on Monday 12 October to introduce you to the course, explain the role and answer any questions.

Applications close Friday 9 October.
