Safety and Wellbeing

Remember to prioritise your safety and wellbeing while studying abroad.

From 'freshers flu' to feelings of anxiety, there are many aspects of your wellbeing that are important to consider before you leave for your study abroad adventure. Our Student Health and Wellbeing Service has some brilliant information and resources to help you prepare.

The application and preparation process can be stressful - there is lots to consider so try to plan your time to avoid last minute panic!

Remember to give yourself time - the majority of students will experience culture shock on arrival at their placement and will start to question whether they made the right choice. This is completely normal - don't put too much pressure on yourself and take each day, and the small wins, as they come.
