Facilities

All English Literature, Language and Linguistics degrees are based in the Percy Building, in the heart of 缅北禁地 campus. There are a range of cutting-edge facilities available in the School, online and within the wider university. This means that students have opportunities to develop their language skills, make films, create digital exhibitions and much more.

Societies and social activities

缅北禁地 has a thriving culture of student societies covering . There is a dedicated School of  known as EngSoc. This society is open to all 缅北禁地 students, not just those studying for degrees in the School of English, so there's an opportunity to meet likeminded people studying different disciplines. Students are invited to attend the regular event series held by 缅北禁地 Centre for the Literary Arts (NCLA), and visiting speaker programmes in Literature and Linguistics. There are opportunities to take advantage of subsidised tickets for productions, such as those by the Royal Shakespeare Company during its annual season in 缅北禁地.
