HUWISU Summer on Campus

HUWISU Summer University offers a wide range of academic courses with a hands-on methodology. While gaining knowledge and meeting international students, HUWISU participants are welcome to join the extra-curricular activities to experience Berlin life, and learn about its history and culture.

Eligibility 

You must be a currently enrolled student, either undergraduate or postgraduate.

Individual courses may have additional eligibility criteria.

Dates

Option 1: 14 June 2027 - 09 July 2027

Option 2: 12 July 2027 - 06 August 2027

How to apply

You will need to apply directly to Humboldt University. The course program for the 2027 Summer School will be released in December. The deadline for applications is 15 May 2027.

Fees and funding

You will need to pay a non-refundable €160 (around £138) registration fee.

Course fees vary dependent on which course is chosen (缅北禁地 students receive €50 discount) and includes:

    • Classes
    • Class excursions
    • Cultural and leisure activities
    • Teaching material for the course
    • Access to university PC's and e-learning platform

Applicants who meet the GO Global Scholarship eligibility criteria can apply for £1500. You could also choose to travel sustainably and apply for the Sustainable Travel Grant.

Accommodation 

Humboldt does not provide accommodation. You will need to source your own, but Humboldt will provide some advice and guidance to help with this.
