Things to consider

Classes may be held in campuses outside of the city center. Consider where you want your accommodation to be and how you will get around, whether that be walking or biking, or public transport.

How to apply

You will need to apply directly to University of Antwerp. The course program for the 2027 Summer School is out now however more courses will be added until February 2027.

The deadline for applications is 13 May 2027, however some courses may close applications earlier if over-subscribed.

Fees and funding

Some courses offer cheaper fees for booking early (early bird fees), usually before February 2027.

Course fees vary dependent on which course is chosen and most will include:

  • Classes
  • Class excursions and/or social activities
  • Some lunches and/or dinners
  • Teaching material for the course
  • Access to university PC's and e-learning platform

Applicants who meet the GO Global Scholarship eligibility criteria can apply for £1500. You could also choose to travel sustainably and apply for the Sustainable Travel Grant.

Accommodation

Most courses do not include accommodation (a couple do, so be sure to check) but Antwerp will provide help and guidance to accepted students on choosing trustworthy, affordable accommodation.
