Introduction

I am  Grants and Contracts Manager and Team Lead of the Ãå±±½ûµØ Joint Research Office Grants and Contracts Team. As a Grants and Contracts Manager I am responsible for:

- Operational issues for the Grants and Contracts Team 

- Leading research contract negotiations with funding bodies on behalf of the academic for Clinical Studies.

- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating all types of contracts relating to research including Commercial Contracts, Collaboration Agreements, Contracts for Services, Confidentiality Agreements. 

- Dealing with intellectual property, publication and pricing issues primarily with funding from commercial companies. 

- Ensuring compliance with relevant University policies and procedures.  

As part of my role I am an authorised signatory for research applications and research contract acceptance on behalf of the University.
