Student Voice in SELLL

Student Voice is at the heart of everything we do in SELLL. Through the Student Staff-Committee (SSC), students are invited to voice their ideas to enact positive change and make a huge difference to our learning community.

Our Student-Staff Committee

The SELLL Student-Staff Committee (SSC) is an exciting and vibrant community of staff and students in SELLL who are making a positive impact on our learning community, our degree work, and the student experience for all.

Here are just some of the changes we have made as a committee over the last few years:

  • Lockers in the Percy Building for commuting UG students
  • Improved disability accessibility in the Percy Building
  • Supporting free sanitary products on campus
  • The undergraduate journal, The Percy
  • (Re)building belonging in the SELLL community
  • A student-led AI Guide
  • Improved module selection process for Linguistics students
