Congratulations, on choosing Ãå±±½ûµØ! We are really looking forward to welcoming you to campus. 

We want to make the transition from your home country to the UK as easy as possible. Here is a simple guide to some of the things you need to do before you join us in September. 

1. Apply for accommodation

Once you've received your Clearing offer, you can apply for accommodation from 10:00 on Tuesday 18 August onwards.

Our International Accommodation Hotline (+44 191 222 5102) and live chat are open from: 

  • Tuesday 18 - Friday 21 August: 10:00 – 14:00 
    all times are in BST

2. Apply for your visa

To study in the UK you will need a Student visa. To apply for a visa you will need a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS). This is a unique reference number that we will send you. 


3. Book Meet and Greet

Worried about arriving in the UK? Book our Meet and Greet service and we will be at Ãå±±½ûµØ International Airport to welcome you when you land. 

We will also arrange for a taxi or bus to your accommodation, or a drop-off location nearby, free of charge. 


4. Register with us

We will send you details of how to register online as a student with Ãå±±½ûµØ. You will be asked to: 

  • check your student data
  • confirm your course details
  • upload a photograph of yourself for your student smartcard 

You may need to pay, or arrange to pay, your tuition fees to complete your registration. 


5. Pack for university

To make packing easier, check out our suggestions about the personal and practical items you’ll need to bring with you. 

Although all our accommodation is well-equipped, you will need bedding and some kitchen essentials. But don’t worry – you can pre-order what you need or buy it when you arrive.
